Umrah and Ziarat Makkah Mukarrama
It was my desire from my childhood that I will go for Umrah. I started giving tuition and collecting money but that time I can not collect so much, then my grandmother promise that she will let me with her for Umrah but but that time my uncle went with her so I lost my second chance. After marriage my wife ask me if we can go to Umrah as our first journey so it was my pleasure and plan to go Umrah. We started preparation and plan to go after 3 months but this time still we didnt get chance due to some reasons but still we didn't loose our hopes and continuously ask people who go for Umrah and Hajj and see them with Hasrat. AlhamdulilAllah time came after 7 years supplications of people accepted and we got invitation from Allah SWT and Sarkar Dou Aalam Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam. We started studying and watching videos for Umrah preparation. AlhamdulilAllah we got the visa of 17 days(including 12 Rabi ul Awwal in Madina Munawwara). We did alot of rehearse for Ahram and try to remember the supplications and learn to perform Umrah with books and videos.
The day(December 28,2014) came when we started our journey. I wear Ahram and perform 2 rakah nafil at home. The journey started from Karachi air port. I did niya on aeroplane as ahram restrictions started after ahram niya.
After niya you have to say Labbaik
People also wear ahram at Miqat which come just before Jeddah. It took 4.5 hours to reach Jeddah airport.
Me with my son Muhammad Ahmed at Jeddah Airport
We wait about 2 hours there and at-last reach Makkah Mukarrama after 3 hours at Burj al Mashad hotel(800 meter) around 09:00 PM. We did dinner(from Pakistani hotel) and just after it go with our group leader(Arif Bapu) to Masjidul Haram. We all were very excited and it was nice when Haram started appearing in your eyes.
Masjid ul Haram
Now our heart beats is running fast. We entered in Masjidul Haram where we met our Muallim Waqar Bhai. Before telling you more about Umrah I would like to shade some lights on the importance of Umrah
Umrah is recommended by the Holy Qur'an, and is a highly regarded practice in Islam.
(Truly, Safa and Marwa are among the landmarks of God, therefore anyone who performs the hajj or the umra he does no harm if he circumambulates them both) The Holy Qur'an, chapter 2, 153.
The Umrah, a strong symbol of Muslim piety, is a highly individual ritual.
After supplications we say niya of Tawaf mentioned below
mens also should need to uncover right hand shoulder which is call Iztibah.
(Iztiba is sunnah in all the seven rounds of the tawaf

Now we need to go to the Rukn of Khana kaaba(Rukne Aswad) where Hajre aswad is placed. At this stage we have to Istalam and need to say the following pray
Now we have to start first round anti clock. In first round we have to say first round pray but if you not remembered you can say Darood Sharif as its afzal to say Darood Sharif. Try to avoid say pray by watching book as in this way you can hurt other people who is busy in tawaf.
After every round you have to istalam and say the above pray. After seven rounds your tawaf will be completed but this time you have to do the istalam and offer 2 rakah nafil.
After Tawaf we have to drink Abe Zam Zam. Dua after Abe Zam Zam is
After drinking Zam Zam we have to go to Kohe Safa where we have to offer dua and then Niya for Sai mentioned below
Now we entered the lane that runs between two points right outside, called 'as-Safa and Marwa. The starting point is from 'as-Safa.
We walks back and forth between these two points seven times. Between these two points there are green lights where men needs to run.
At each point he/she stops for a moment, in order to say a few prayers, and then continues. This ritual ends at Marwa where we need to perform 2 rakh nafil.

We were done with our first Umrah around 4:30 AM now we started waiting for Fajar prayers. The Azan of Haram is one of the best azan I have ever heard also the tilawat was very heart touching. After Fajar prayer we back to home.
Second day we offer pray and did nafli tawaf. At night our group leader told us that we will go on Ziarat of Makkha Mukarrama after Fajar prayer.
Our Journey started and we first go to Jable Soor where there is a cave called Ghare Soor where Sarkare Dou Aalam sallahu alaihi wasallam stay 3 days with Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique Raziullah tala anhu.It is a very huge

Mount of Arafat, Maidane Arafat
Mount Arafat or Mount Arafah (Arabic: جبل عرفات transliterated Jabal ‘Arafāt) is a granite hill east of Mecca in the plain of Arafat. It is also known as the Mount of Mercy (Jabal ar-Rahmah). According to Islamic tradition, the hill is the place where the Islamic prophetMuhammad stood and delivered the Farewell Sermon to the Muslims who had accompanied him for the Hajj towards the end of his life. It reaches about 70 m in height.(wikipedia)
Masjid-e-Namra, Maidan-e-Arafat
Masjid e Nimra is situated in Arafat, Makkah. Here Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered the last historic sermon (Khutba) of Hajj. Every year on 9th Zihija, Hajj Khutba is delivered from this mosque. Only two salat (Prayers) are offered in this mosque during a year. On Haj day ( the 9th Zilhija) Zuhar and Asar prayers are offered jointly by pilgrims. During Hajj it is very difficult for every pilgrim to reach here but in other days, the mosque remains empty and might be seen easily. It’s courtyard area remains open for nawafil prayers but inner hall remains closed.;Reference: http://www.beautifulmosque.com/Masjid-e-Nimra-in-Arafat-Saudi-Arabia

There are so many ziarat in Makkah but due to limitation of time we didnt go to following ziarat worth watching in Makkah like.
The birth place of Huzoor Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam: Now a days at Bab Fahad Malik Abdul Aziz gate there is a library instead of this place. You can only watch this place in imagination that it was the place of birth our beloved Holy Prophet Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam

Hazri Rozae Rasool(Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and Ziarat Madina Munawwara
We spent 4 days in Makkah Mukarrama and then our group leader told us that now we need to go Madina Munawwara. So on January 1,2015 after Fajar we took all our luggage with us and sat in a bus. I thought in my heart that I m leaving Makkah Mukarrama where I did Umrah and tawaf so I was missing Khana Kaaba and thought whether I will get chance to see it again or not. Madina Munawwarah is 450 KM far from Makkah Mukarrama. It was 5 hours journey in bus. We were looking outside bus and I was thinking about our beloved Huzoor sallahu alaihi wasallam hijrat that our beloved Prophet did hijrat on foot without any ride and completed this journey in 15 days. Our bus stopped at a stop near Zuhar prayer where I bought some stuff for my kid and offer Zohar prayer in a mosque. Our driver again started journey. Most of the people were sleeping my MRS was hearing Owais Raza Qadri naats on my smart phone and I was trying to remember the Salams I need to recite on Rozae Rasool Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam and both Rozae Hazrat Abbu Bakar and Hazrat Umer Razi Allahu Tala Alaihi
Salam recite on Rozae Rasool Sallahu Alaihi Wsallam
Salam recite on Hazrat Abu Bakar RaziAllahu Tala Anhu
Salam recite on Hazrat Umer Farooq RaziAllahu Tala Anhu
Salam recite both on Hazrat Abu Bakar and Umer Farooq RaziAllahu Tala Anhu
Its better to memorize these salams because it is good to recite salam without seeing book as it not looks good and its less chance you can do this so I memorized it.
I would recommend to recite Daroode Taaj and good naats like Tanam Farsoda jaan para, Qaseed Burda Shareef and the Hazrat Hassan Bin Sabit poetry
Urdu literal meaning
Recite following dua
you should go with good things to present to your Master.
I was repeating all these things by heart when going to Madina. Heart beat was again running fast and fast. When we reached Madina the climate changed its nice cool breeze started. Some of our friends see Gunbade Khizra and I missed it and eargerly trying to see it. We went to hotel where the bus droped all our luggage. We were there for 1 hour and then on second bus we again sit and started our journey. The bus stopped at other place near Masjide Nabvi(Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam) but we dont know about this fact. The fact was that we dont had any hotel available and the bus driver waiting for our group leader call. After half an hour he got call and we try to reach that destination.During bus driver search for our group leader we see Masjide Nabvi three times this means bus driver didnt know the exact location so we travel in Madina streets. We all were in surprising situation what is happening with us. At last driver dropped us at a Hotel(Darul Habib 800meter) where our group leader told us that we will stay here for one day and I will try to relocate you near Masjide Nabvi for rest of your stay in Madina. We happily adjust in this Hotel as we had no option and thanks to Allah Pak that we reached in Madina before 12th Rabi ul Awwal. We were very tired so decided to have some food but it was near Asar time so all hotels were closed. I hardly find a hotel open at that moment but it was very difficult to ask an Arab for food if he is not getting you. By luck I found an Arab child who did my deal with this man. That time I realize its very necessary for people to learn basic Arabic atleast you can ask for price e.g. Kam Haza and you should learn counting from 1 to 100 if not then keep a calculator and ask a price from an Arab by giving your calculator to write price. This is a very nice tip one of my friend gave me.
At last after food and offer asar at home we prepared ourselves for Hazri of Rozae Rasool sallahu alaihi wasallam. It was maghrib when we started from our home but it was too far so we individually perform Maghrib Salah but now its time to enter in Masjide Nabvi. We went to main entrance(gate 22) as we have ladies and kids with us. When we entered it was 7;00 PM and one of the people recommend to wait till Isha. So we waited till Isha prayer. I was thinking I didnt apply any Itar so it not looks good to go without fragrance. After Isha prayer when I went out from Masjide Nabvi one boy was applying Itar to every one and that was Oad itar I was very pleased with that. I went to Babus salam gate where one need to enter for Hazri. It is better to come from Babul Baqee but now a days they are not allowing due to rush.
Remember before enter recite the Darood Sharif and wait like you are waiting for approval of hazri....Now enter with right leg and say Bismillah and do not see everywhere just look down and have feeling that you are going in Huzoor Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam rozae mubarak. Feel you are a sinner and now will request for shafaat. There are some confusions regarding the right place to recite Salam so be careful you are at right place. Make sure you are at Mawajh Sharif mentioned in below image
This is the place where all Ashiqane Rasool recite salam by heart but becareful you do not speak louder here as your all good deeds will be waste so your voice should be not low and not high. After recite Salam ask Shafaat of Huzoor sallalahu alaihi wasallam as mentioned below
Recite some good darood and salam and good naats if you remember.
Give salam of all people who asked you to say Salam at Rozae Rasool sallahu alaihi wasallam. Pray for your good here and hereafter also all good supplications
Now move right hand side and at Abu Bakar rozae mubarak recite salam also say in heart that you have alot of ahsaan on muslim ummah. Now move more at right hand infront of Umer bin Khattab rozae mubarak and recite Salam. Now move between these two roza and recite the combine salam.
I also did the same as mentioned above but I didnt get too much time as one of Shurta(police) call me and ask me to leave early. I was only able to say salam of my parents and say that all ashiqane rasool say Salam at rozae Rasool Sallahu Alaihi Wsallam.
I was feeling myself very lucky that I got the chance to see Rozae Rasool Sallahu Alaihi Wsallam I returned from Babul Baqee with my son happily. We then return to our hotel. We took dinner from a hotel called Peshawari hotel from where I bought Chapli Kabab and one salan. Madina Munawwara climate is very good its cold there.
I read a hadith that if you go and offer pray in mosque you will get sawab of one Hajj so I tried to pray in Masjide Nabvi for every prayer to get this reward. We did all of our shoppings from Madina as the people of Madina are very good. We bought dates (Ajwa, Mabroom,Barni Madina(have cure of 70 diseases), four five types dates dont remember the exact name) around 13 KG. We also bought some tabarrukat e.g. Asmad Surma, Roghan Billisan, Perfumes, Itars, ladies scarfs, gold, Abaya and ladies purse. My mother also ask me for some jadi boties like Nabi Boti, maryam phool and mehndi.
I would recommend to recite Daroode Taaj and good naats like Tanam Farsoda jaan para, Qaseed Burda Shareef and the Hazrat Hassan Bin Sabit poetry
Wa ahsanu minka lam tara qattu eynun,
Wa ajmalu minka lam talidi'n nisaau,
Khuliqta mubarraan min kulli`aybin,
Ka annaka qad khalaqta kamaa tashaau
Ya Rasool-Allah(S.A.W.)aaj tak kisi bhi aankh ne aap jaisa haseen-o-jameel nahin dekha,
Aur aap ke jaisa haseen aaj tak kise maan ne nahin janaa hai,
Aap ko tamaam aibon se paak kar ke qhalk kiye gai hain,
Aur mujhe to yun lagta hai ki aap jaise paida hona chaahte the waise hi paida hue hain.

There are two famous mosques with name of Hazrat Ali (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ), one very near to Masjid Nabwi and one at Ghazwa Khandaq
This is very near to Masjid Nabwi. If you are near Roza Shareef, face to Qibla, you will see Souq Haram (a long market) at the boundary of Masjid Nabwi. At the right end of this market, this mosque is located towards the opposite to the Qibla side of (100 meter) Masjid Abu Baker (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ).

Masjid Ejabah
The significance of Masjid Ejabah (also known as Masjid Mu’awiyah) is that it is the location where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) supplicated to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) for three things. Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) answered two of his requests, but not the third. The Arabic word ‘ejabah’ in english closely means ‘responding’.
Aamir bin Sa’ad (may Allah be pleased with him) reported on the authority of his father that: One day Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) came from Aaliya and passed by the mosque of Banu Mu’awiyah. He went in and observed two rak’ahs there and we also observed prayer along with him and he made a long supplication to his Lord. He then turned to us and said:“I asked my Lord three things and He has granted me two but has withheld one. I asked my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by famine and He granted me this. And I asked my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by drowning (by deluge) and He granted me this. And I asked my Lord that there should be no bloodshed among the people of my Ummah, but He did not grant it.” [Muslim]

Masjide Bilal
There is a market near Masjide Bilal which called "Sooqe Bilal". Market is called Sooq in arabic. Hazrat Bilal Habshi(Razi Allahu Tala Anhu) used to sell dates in this market.
Masjide Jumma
Masjid Jummah, on the boundary of Madinah marks the site where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) led the first Jummah salah, shortly after his Hijrah (migration) from Makkah. It is about 2.5 km from Masjid-e-Nabwi.

Masjide Ghamama
This masjid, located about 300m south-west of Masjid-e-Nabwi is known as Masjid Ghamama. It is built on the site where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) performed the Eid salah during the last years of his life.
This is also the location where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) performed Salatul Istisqa (a special salah for invocation of rain). The word Ghamama means clouds which suddenly appeared and brought rain after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had performed the prayer.

Masjide Quba
Quba is the place on the outskirts of Madinah where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), accompanied by Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived and first stayed after emigrating from Makkah. They arrived on Monday 12th Rab’i al-Awwal, fourteen years after Prophethood and this date marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar (Hijra), (16th July 622 CE). A masjid was established here by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), the first to be built in Islam.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “He who purifies himself at his home and comes to Masjid Quba and offers two rakats therein, will be rewarded the reward of an Umrah (lesser pilgrimage).” [Sunan ibn Majah]

Biru Tufla/Khatam
In front of Masjid Quba, is a sweet-water well that is now closed. The Prophet (S.A.W)'s ring fell into this well hence the name Bi'ru al-Khatam (khatam = ring). It is also called Bi'ru Tufla
Now there is a fountain at this place
The Prophet Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam informed His companions that when this ring will lost there will be fitna in ummat.
In the era of Hazrat Usman Ghani the ring fell from his hand in this well.
Narrated Anas:
that when Abu Bakr became the Caliph, he wrote a letter to him (and stamped it with the Prophet’s ring) and the engraving of the ring was in three lines: Muhammad in one line, ‘Apostle’ in another line, and ‘Allah’ in a third line. Anas added: ‘the ring of the Prophet was in his hand, and after him, in Abu Bakr’s hand, and then in ‘Umar’s hand after Abu Bakr. When Uthman was the Caliph, once he was sitting at the well of Aris. He removed the ring from his hand and while he was trifling with it, dropped into the well. We kept on going to the well with Uthman for three days looking for the ring, and finally the well was drained, but the ring was not found. - Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 767:
The turk then drained and found this ring now this ring is in Turk meuseum

Jabal Rumah
This small mountain in front of Mount Uhud is where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had positioned archers during the Battle of Uhud with the strict instructions not to move. It was the desertion of their posts by many of the archers on thinking the battle was over that led to a reversal of fortune for the Muslims in the war.

Wadiye Baiza
This is very very strange area, where you will find the laws of nature reversed.
Allah knows the best how, but you will observe ...
- A continuous force on your vehicle towards Madinah
- On an ascending slope, your vehicle will automatically ascend without any engine power.
What to observe there
Do the simple things as ...
- Reach to the end of the road, take the u-turn and stop your vehicle.
- Turn off the vehicle, apply the Neutral gear and leave the brakes.
- Your vehicle will start moving very slowly and gradually it will pick the speed. You just handle with steering.
- Your speed will reach above 120 km/h
- The force will keep you about 12 to 13 KM from start.
- Be careful, don't apply engine force, it may be dangerous.
